Private and custom trips

Build the trip around your people.

Start with a proven route or a loose idea. We’ll shape the distance, stays, instruction, bike and gear setup, and level of support together.

01

Custom where it matters.

Not every kilometre needs reinventing. We use reliable route knowledge and then change the parts that decide whether the trip feels right.

01

Daily distance

Shorter learning days, steady touring days, or something more ambitious.

02

Route and surface

Rail trail, waterfront, quiet roads, or a practical blend.

03

Stays

Camping, hotels, yurts, cabins, unconventional stays, or a mix.

04

Support

Carry your own equipment or have a vehicle move it and meet the group.

05

Bike and gear

Bring your own, use available inventory, or arrange third-party rentals.

06

Learning

Practical instruction is included; a deeper skills focus can be added.

Choose how much you carry.

Both formats are guide-led. The difference is what rides on the bike and what waits at the end of the day.

Guide-led · self-carried

From $145CAD per rider, per day · planning estimate based on 4 riders

Route plan, pre-trip preparation, on-route guidance, practical instruction, and trip coordination. Riders carry their own setup.

Guide-led · vehicle-supported

From $285CAD per rider, per day · planning estimate based on 4 riders

Adds a support driver, equipment transfer, planned meetups, camp preparation, and bailout capacity.

About these numbers

These are early planning estimates, not bookable prices. Group size, route, stay style, rentals, food, permits, and trip length affect the quote. You will receive one CAD total and exact inclusions before a 25% deposit is requested.

03

A useful planning call, not a sales gauntlet.

Send a short note first. If it helps, we can talk by phone or video before I turn the idea into a route outline and quote.

Step 1Short inquiry

Group size, general dates, experience, and what you want from the trip.

Step 2Phone or video

Optional, but useful when the group has questions or mixed needs.

Step 3Outline and quote

Route, day shape, support, stays, inclusions, and one clear CAD total.

Step 425% deposit

Only after you review the trip-specific plan and booking terms.

Private trip questions.

How many people can come?

Most private trips are designed for 2–6 riders. Larger friend, family, or workplace groups can be discussed and may need added guide or support capacity.

Can the group use different bikes?

Yes, if every bike is appropriate for the chosen surface and fitted to its rider. We’ll review the setup before the route is finalized.

Can some people camp and others stay indoors?

Sometimes, depending on the route and how close the available stays are. Tell me what the group wants and I’ll check whether a split arrangement is practical.

Can this be mostly a skills course?

Yes. The trip can spend more time on packing, basic emergency mechanics, riding loaded, navigation, camp systems, and independent-trip planning.

Bring the group. I’ll help shape the rest.
