Last updated: January 2025WildCard is a wildlife identification quiz app developed by Halfwoods. Your privacy matters to us, and we've designed WildCard to collect as little data as possible.
We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal information. All your game data stays on your device.
Information Stored on Your Device
Game Progress
Your quiz scores, species mastery progress, streaks, and statistics are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync.
Preferences
Your app settings like appearance mode, colorblind preferences, and region filters are stored locally on your device.
Optional Cloud Services
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud, your game progress syncs across your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and is not accessible to us or anyone else.
Game Center
If you sign in to Game Center, your scores may appear on leaderboards and you can earn achievements. This is entirely optional and governed by Apple's privacy policy.
What We Don't Do
We want to be crystal clear about what WildCard does not do:
• We do not collect any personal information
• We do not use analytics or tracking services
• We do not display advertisements
• We do not sell or share any data
• We do not have servers that store your information
Third-Party Services
WildCard integrates only with Apple services (iCloud and Game Center). Your use of these optional services is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
WildCard is designed to be safe for users of all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information from anyone, there is no data collection from children under 13 or any other age group.

We may update this privacy policy if we add new features. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above.
