In Plain English
Use Drift for personal alarm and sleep needs. The app is provided as-is. We're not responsible if you oversleep—always have a backup alarm for critical events.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Drift, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Use of the App
Drift is provided for personal, non-commercial use as an alarm clock and sleep sounds application.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
- Copy, redistribute, or republish app content
- Use the app for any commercial purpose without permission
- Attempt to interfere with the app's proper operation
Alarm Reliability
While we strive to make Drift reliable, no alarm app is 100% guaranteed. Device settings, battery status, software updates, and other factors may affect alarm functionality. For critical wake-up times, we recommend using a backup alarm.
Intellectual Property
All content in Drift—including sounds, graphics, and the app design—is owned by the developer or used under license.
The Drift name and branding are trademarks of the developer.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Drift is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Alarms will always trigger as expected
- The app will meet your specific requirements
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:
- Missed alarms or oversleeping
- Loss of data or settings
- Interruption of service
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. Continued use of Drift after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
